What is this Font Generator?

This free font generator turns your input into dozens of fancy text styles you can copy and paste anywhere. It uses real Unicode characters (not images), so your text stays selectable, searchable, and accessible.

Browse classic styles like bold, italic, script, fraktur, double‑struck, circled, and monospace—as well as utility and decorative variants such as fullwidth, strikethrough, underline, brackets, arrows, and more.

How to use

  1. Type or paste your text into the input box.
  2. Scroll the list to preview your text in many different Unicode styles.
  3. Click Copy on any style to copy that variant to your clipboard.
  4. Use categories and the search box to quickly find styles.
  5. Adjust the Preview size slider to make styles easier to compare.
  6. Optionally use Copy all visible to copy every currently visible preview at once.

Options and controls

These controls help you scan styles faster and tailor the output to your needs.

  • Preview size: Increase or decrease the preview font size to compare subtle differences.
  • Categories: Filter styles by type (classic, sans, mono, fun, effects, decor, etc.).
  • Search: Find a style by name or category keyword.
  • Bold (Mathematical Bold): Stronger emphasis using characters from the Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols block.
  • Italic (Mathematical Italic): Slanted letterforms; note that some letters use special symbols (e.g., italic h as ℎ).
  • Script / Cursive: Calligraphic look for display text; coverage varies across platforms.
  • Fraktur / Blackletter: Gothic‑style letterforms; great for headings and aesthetic flair.
  • Double‑struck: Also called Blackboard Bold; often used for number sets like ℕ, ℤ, ℚ, ℝ, ℂ.
  • Circled: Letters or digits inside circles; useful for lists and badges.
  • Monospace: Fixed‑width style that looks like code; aligns nicely in columns.
  • Fullwidth: Wide East Asian presentation forms; great for attention‑grabbing headings.
  • Strikethrough: A line through each character; use for edits or stylistic effects.
  • Underline / Overline: Lines under or above each character using combining marks.

Compatibility and copy/paste notes

Unicode styles rely on your device’s fonts. Most modern systems render popular blocks well, but coverage still varies.

  • Mathematical alphabets: Bold, italic, script, fraktur, double‑struck, sans, and mono live in Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols and may depend on a math font (e.g., Noto Sans Math).
  • Symbols and enclosures: Circled/boxed letters and combining enclosures need broad symbol coverage (e.g., Noto Sans Symbols 2).
  • Emoji presentation: Emoji‑style glyphs depend on your platform’s color emoji font; appearance varies across OS and apps.
  • Copy and paste: Copy/paste preserves characters, but receiving apps may substitute fonts or render fallbacks if a glyph isn’t supported.

FAQ

Why do some letters look normal? Unicode doesn’t define styled forms for every character. Devices also differ in coverage. If a letter has no styled counterpart or your font lacks it, it may fall back to the base character.
